从事数学建模与计算机模拟研究。 主要关注微、纳米力学等跨学科研究。 对微纳米颗粒流、纳米材料中的能量和气体储存、变相材料、固液耦合等问题尤感兴趣。 现阶段积极拓展新的研究方向，包括应用偏微分方程与凝聚体物理研究。 教学方面，有微积分、线性代数、工程数学、数值分析、(偏)微分方程等。
