About the speaker
Dr. Ye Zhou received his B.S. (2008) from Nanjing University, M.S. (2009) from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Ph.D. (2013) from City University of Hong Kong. His research interests include flexible and printed electronics, surface and interface physics, nano-structured materials and nano-scale devices for technological applications.
New classes of organic/inorganic materials have offered an attractive route to advanced electronic devices because of the advantage for usage in low-cost, flexible, portable and large area printed electronics. The development of functional semiconducting/insulating/conducting materials represents a new frontier in preparation of high performance transistors, logic circuits, data storage devices and sensors. In this talk, I will introduce our recent development of functional thin films and nanostructures based on these materials, novel device architecture design and the integration of electronic devices for technological applications. The findings provide a better understanding of various organic/inorganic materials and prove their potential applications in future advanced electronics.
