Research projects:

2012/09-2015/07 In this phase, my study focused on the molecular mechanisms of P-TEFb in modulating the release of paused RNA Pol II. our studies revealed that transcriptional pause release is regulated by the cooperation of multiple P-TEFbs which are recruited by Brd4 and super elongation complex (SEC) via a Mediator- and Paf1c-coordinated recruitment network.


 

Recently:

we focused on the roles of HOXA cluster antisense RNAs in atherosclerotic regulation. Our investigations identify a lncRNA HOXA-AS3 as a novel regulator, which can mediate endothelial dysfunction and is involved in atherosclerotic lesion formation by enhancing the activation of NF-κB signaling pathway.
