At 3 pm on September 13, IAS held a Teacher-Students Exchange Meeting at C306 of Teaching Building. Professional tutors and the freshmen from the 2018 ICSE all attended the exchange meeting.
The exchange meeting included professional tutors’ explanation and students questioning. First, tutor representatives Wenjin Li, Hai Xiong, Xiaoguang Li and Yue Chan introduced the facuty, research status and research achievements in different research fields of IAS.
Later, Chengfa Wu, Shern-Long Lee, Ye Zhou and Scott Edwards also gave their suggestions to the students to adapt the learning in university and encouraged them to participate in research.
All teachers and students showed great enthusiasm in the question-and-answer session.
The exchange meeting ended at 5 pm. This exchange meeting was designed to deeped understanding between the teachers and the freshmen from the 2018 ICSE and make the freshmen have a general understanding of the research fields.
