With a delegation came from Shenzhen University, including the Vice President of SZU，Hui Wang, Minister Jifeng Dai, the Organization Department of SZU, Director Zhjun Li, the Admissions Office of SZU, Dean Steven F. Chen, Institute for Advanced Study of SZU, Assistant Dean Yang Wei, Research Scientist Ye Zhou and Teaching secretary Yang Chen from IAS, all of them paid a visit to Jiangsu Province for undergraduate enrollment publicity from April 11st to 18th.                        

The delegation took seven days to visit the eight key middle schools in Nantong, Jiangsu Province. There were Nantong Middle School, Rudong Senior High School, Rugao Middle School, Haian Senior School of Jiangsu Province, Tongzhou Senior High School, Qidong Middle School of Jiangsu Province, Nantong No.1 Middle School of Jiangsu Province and Haimen Middle School, all of them are key school in Jiangsu Province, national high school model and the first four-star schools of Jiangsu Province, with high enrollment rate in College entrance examination.        

The visit included two parts: to have a discussion with the local government leaders, the leaders of the examination institute (admissions office), the school leaders and the head teachers, and hold a lecture for senior school students and their parents for face-to-face communication.        

At the meeting, Vice President Hui Wang introduced the basic situation of SZU, focusing on the history, the development and the enrollment situation of SZU, and exchanged with the school leaders on the construction of excellent student base and the cultivation of top-notch talents to form a preliminary cooperation plan. Afterwards, Dean Steven F. Chen presented IAS on the basic situation and the training of innovative talents and discussed with the school leaders and the head teachers. After talking, Vice President Hui Wang awarded the “Excellent Student Base” plaque of SZU and presented SZU souvenirs.        

Headed by Director Zhijun, the delegation introduced SZU and IAS by PPT and publicity video, from the faculty, scientific research level, international exchange, training characteristics, admissions, top-notch innovative talent training plan and employment situation, etc. Nearly an hour's enrollment lecture aroused the active attention and interest of teachers, students and parents and WeChat groups established by IAS for head teachers and parents of the schools also achieved good publicity effect.            

he enrollment publicity of IAS has deepened the understanding and recognition of the students and parents of Jiangsu Province to SZU and IAS and strengthened the exchanges among them. This visit laid a exchanges and cooperation foundation for the future.
