Talk Introduction
Mercury is a global pollutant and presents a threat to the health of human and wildlife. Mercury has a complex biogeochemical cycle that scientists do not completely understand. In this talk, I will give an overview on the environmental cycling of mercury, and will present some of my research results on mercury cycling in stream ecosystems in northern California, USA.
