报告摘要：

Solid-state NMR spectroscopy is one of powerful tools to study local structure and dynamics of organic molecules at the molecular scale. We are studying structure and molecular dynamics of various semicrystalline polymers. In this talk, three topics including i) chain-folding structure of long polymer chains in solution- and melt-grown crystals1-8 ii) chemical reactions of Poly(acrylonitrile) for carbon fiber,9, 10 and molecular dynamics of semicrystalline polymers11 will be presented.

嘉宾简介：

Toshikazu Miyoshi obtained his Ph.D in Chemistry (1997) at Kyoto University, Japan. After postdoctoral work at Institute of Polymer Research Dresden, Germany, he joined National Institute of Advanced Technology and Industrial Science (AIST), Japan, in 2000. He joined the department of polymer science at the University of Akron in 2010. His research interests include development of solid-state NMR techniques and their application to semicrystalline and glassy polymers, self-assembly, and biomaterials. He has peer review publications over 80.
