The pledge activity on“Stay true to the mission, follow the Party forever" started on January 17, 2018. It was held by Shenzhen Municipal Education Committee at Shenzhen First Polytechnic School with the presence of IAS secretary of the Party branch Yang Wei and six probationary members including Hai Xiong, Xiaoguang Li, Zefeng Zhu, Chongjie Huang, Ziying Liang and Jiayi Wang along with the group from Shenzhen University.

There were four arrangements scheduled in the activity, including watching educational videos, speeches by teacher representative and student representative, leader speaking and swearing-in.

IAS students Zefeng Zhu as the student representative delivered a speech in the activity. Zefeng Zhu first thanked the leaders of Shenzhen Municipal Education Committee and Shenzhen University for giving him the opportunity as the student representative and was extremely proud to join the communist party of China. He said, as new young generation, we shall devote ourselves to the construction of our country and new Party members shall keep the pledge in mind and practice it, remember the mission and responsibility of Communist Party members and be an excellent Party member.

Kun Fan, the deputy secretary of Shenzhen Municipal Education Committee and a member of Shenzhen Education Party Group, had been invited to participate in the construction of IAS and highly affirmed Zhu’s performance. Secretary Fan thought as a special platform at Shenzhen University, IAS focused on interdisciplinary teaching and research and explore the reform in innovative personnel training model to serve the community, and Zhu’s performance could well reflect the achievements in personnel training of Shenzhen University. Secretary Fan also addressed that the new Party members shall never forget our mission and learn the history of the Communist Party of China, and remember the willingness and dedication of the older generation of revolutionary martyrs. He stressed that young Party members shall take the lead on realizing the Chinese dream.

The newly developed party members expressed that we would keep the responsibilities of the Party members in mind,carry forward the spirit of dedication, and strive for the cause of communism and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
