On Jaunary 12, 2018, the Party Conference was held at the Conference 628 of Office Building by and IAS Party branch with the presence of Chen Xu, the Vice-president of Shenzhen University, Jifeng Dai, Minister of Organization Department and Secretary of the Party committee of Shenzhen University and all Party members from IAS Party branch. Minister Jifeng Dai hosted the meeting.

With the theme of the hot word "new era", President Xu explained the spirit of the 19th National Conference for all party members of IAS Party branch. He said as a special platform at Shenzhen University focusing on interdisciplinary teaching and research, IAS shall unswervingly adhere to the leadership of the Communist Party of China in the reform and political orientation.

Later, President Xu discussed the five characteristics of the hot word "new era" with the Party members, that was, the historical context, practicality, popularity, nationality and the world.

Minister Dai then introducted the historical background of the first party of the CCP to the Party members. He stressed that communists, including members from IAS shall never forget our mission to serve to the people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. He also hoped the Party members from IAS shall spread and lead excellent culture and work hard.

All the Party members benefited a lot from President Xu’s and Minister Dai’s speeches and expressed their willingness to study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC to contribute themselves to the construction of high-level universitity of SZU, national scientific research innovation.
