On April 16, 2018, IAS held the 1st Dean's Tea Party at Room 207 of Office Building. Prof. Steven F. Chen, Dean of IAS, Dr. Yang Wei, Assistant Dean of IAS, the staff of IAS along with the student representives from the ICSE of 2014 attended the tea party.

The Dean's Tea Party, as a new activity for teacher-student exchange, aimed to inspire a relaxing conversation between teachers and students. At the party, Prof. Chen talked with the student representives about various matters, such as exchange abroad and graduation prospect and the student representives also proposed some valuable advice for the development of the Institute.

At the end of the tea party, Prof. Chen made a summary talk. He highly affirmed the results achieved by the tea party and emphasize the developments of IAS in this year that would creat and provide as many opportunities as possible for students.

The students all agreed with Prof. Chen and also said that they would continue to follow the school motto, work hard to achieve their dreams and make contribution to the university, the socity and the country.
