At 3 p.m. on June 22nd, 2018, the Insitute for Advanced Study grandly hosted a graduation ceremony for the Innovation Class in Science and Engineering (ICSE) of 2018 graduates at No.1 Lecture Hall of Technology Building at Shenzhen University.The guests present were Professor Li Qingquan, President of Shenzhen University, Professor Li Jun, Vice President of Shenzhen University, Professor Chen Feng, Dean of the Institute for Advanced Study, and Professor Han Zhichao, Dean of the Institute for Advanced Study. Department directors, teachers, along with parents and families of some graduates attended the event. to share with the graduates this joyous moment, and to send their congratulations and best wishes. The event was hosted by Dr. Wei Yang, Assistant Dean of the Insitute for Advanced Study.

A propaganda film of the Insitute for Advanced Study was showed prior to the official start. Then, Dr. Wei introduced the leaders and guests present and expressed her gratitude on behalf of all the teachers and students of the Institute for Advanced Studies for their coming.
The 2018 graduation ceremony started along with the national anthem. First, Professor Chen Feng, Dean of the Institute for Advanced Study, delivered a speech. Professor Chen sent goodbye words and best wishes to the graduates and thanked all expressed respects and thanks to the facuty of the Institute and parents and families of graduates, and then he introduced the graduates situation and the achievements of the Institute during the four years.

Next, Wu Qinxin, the excellent graduate student representative gave a speech. She expressed her thank to the University and would remember the school motto to make persistent efforts and attain more achievements in the future. Finally, she wished the university would more brilliant.

Parents representative Mr. Huang Yupeng also shared his feelings. He gave a congratulation to the graduate students and expressed his gratitude on behalf of all parents of graduates to the teachers and students of the Institute for Advanced Studies and also wished the graduates a brilliant future.

Later, Professor Li Qingquan, President of Shenzhen University delivered a speech. He expressed his warm congratulations to the graduates and affirmed the achievements of the Institute during the four years, and expressed thanks to all the faculty of the Institute, especially Professor Han Zhichao, Dean of the Institute for Advanced Study. Combined with his experience, President Li gave three advice to the graduates: Turning excellence into a habit, cultivating interests and forming the independence of judgement. Finally, President Li President Li expected the graduates to have a bright future.

The graduation ceremony climaxed in the course of the certificate issued by President Li. The graduates proudly took the certificate of outstanding graduate from President Li and took photos with the leaders present. Subsequently, President Li issued a certificate to Professor Han Zhichao, to thank him for the efforts to the Institute.
