To improve the scientific research levels of integrable systems and related research areas, the Institute for Advanced Study of Shenzhen University will hold an academic symposium on integrable systems from December 6 to December 8, 2019. This symposium aims to provide a platform for domestic and foreign experts to exchange ideas and share their new achievements and also improve the quality of graduate and undergraduate students' training.

Meeting Arrangement:

Date: December 6-December 8, 2019

Venue: L1-202 Zhili Building

Contact: Professor Jinsong He

Reports Information:

Report 1

Report Title: Characteristics of Rogue Wave Solutions of Multi-component Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation

Reporter: Dr. Lihong Wang, School of mathematics and statistics at Ningbo University

Abstract: In this talk, we will discuss the characteristics of RWs of multi-component NLS. We present a scheme to get the critical value of the spectrum parameter and rational solutions of multi-component NLS. A family of RWs is classified, and some characteristics of these RWs are summed up.

Date: Dec. 7, 2019(Saturday)

Time: 9:00-9:40

Report 2

Report Title: Reductions on KP hierarchy and Tau function

Reporter: Zhiwei Wu, Associate Professor, School of mathematics at Sun Yat sen University (Zhuhai)

Abstract: In this talk, we will discuss the algebraic structures of reductions on KP hierarchy. We study the scheme of constructing Bi-Hamiltonian structures and Tau-function for these constrained hierarchies.

Date: Dec. 7, 2019(Saturday)

Time: 10:00-10:40

Report 3

Report Title: Universal Character hierarchy and its application on Topological Strings

Reporter: Chuanzhong Li, Associate Professor, School of mathematics at Ningbo University

Abstract: In this talk, we consider two different subjects

Date: Dec.7, 2019(Saturday)

Time: 11:00-11:40

Report 4

Report Title: The Lax formulation of the D-Kac-Wakimoto hierarchy for $(n-2,\bar 1,\bar 1)$ type.

Reporter: Jipeng Cheng, Associate Professor, School of mathematics at China University of Mining and Technology (Xuzhou)

Abstract: In this lecture, starting from the bilinear identity of the D-Kac-Wakimoto hierarchy for $(n-2,\bar 1,\bar 1)$ type, we construct the Lax operators involving the shift operator $\Lambda$ and the differential operators $partial_{x_2}$ and $\partial_{x_3}$, which are greatly different with the usual case. The corresponding commutativities of flows are proved.  Also, the reductions are given. This formulation is hoped to be helpful in the derivation of the Lax equations starting from the bilinear identities.

Date: Dec.7, 2019(Saturday)

Time: 14:00-15:00
