Lecture 3 of Distinguished Scholars Lecturing Program reported by Prof. Yiyun Huang was held at 2:30 pm on October 18th, 2018 at Room L1-707 of the Science and Engineering Building. The freshmen of 2018 and several teachers attended the lecture.
After a brief introduction to Prof. Huang by the research scientist Hai Xiong, the lecture bagan. Prof. Huang gave the students a lecture, entitled“The magic of
chemistry…When interfacing with biology: Development and applications of PET", to report the study on Positron Emission Tomography(PET) molecular imaging technology for tracking of glucose metabolism and drug imaging of drug abuse and Early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.
Prof. Huang also actively answered questions from the teachers and students, which impressed them deeply.
The lecture lasted an hour and a half. IAS Distinguished Scholars Lecturing Program would deepen the academic exchanges between the Institute and others and be conducive to the Institute in academia and research.
